About the Symposium

The SKILL2SUSTAIN Symposium 2026 is an international academic and professional event organized within the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project SKILL2SUSTAIN (Grant Agreement: GAP101178204).

The Symposium brings together academics, researchers, higher education institutions, policymakers, professional chambers, industry representatives, and other key stakeholders from the Western Balkans and the European Union.

Its goal is to foster knowledge exchange and promote innovative approaches to the digital and green transition in higher education and the built environment.

Aligned with the objectives of Erasmus+ CBHE Strand II, the Symposium serves as a platform for dissemination, dialogue, and capacity building, supporting the modernization of higher education systems and strengthening regional cooperation across the Western Balkans.

Call for Papers

PAPER TEMPLATE

We warmly invite researchers, practitioners, and professionals to submit papers addressing (but not limited to) the following topics:

• Green and Digital Transition in Higher Education
• Innovative Curricula and Learning Methodologies for Sustainability
• Digital Tools and Technologies (BIM, GIS, etc.) for the Built Environment
• Green Skills, Climate Resilience, and Disaster Risk Management
• Academia–Industry Cooperation and Labour Market Alignment
• Circular Economy
• Regional Cooperation and EU Policy Alignment (EU Green Deal, Digital Education Action Plan)

Submission Invitation

We invite original research papers, case studies, and applied studies that contribute to advancing knowledge and practice in the above areas.

Selected contributions will be presented during the Symposium and included in the official program.
